Language Services

Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning offers a variety of language services. Our English as a Second Language (ESL) programs serve diverse needs in the community. They are customized and focus on the specific needs and requirements in the workplace and in daily life. We also provide technical assistance to other organizations that teach ESL, and we provide interpretation and translation services.

Community English Classes for Adults: English Language Training with a focus on life skills and self-sufficiency, on location all around the Denver metro area.

Workplace ESL/Spanish: Workplace English or Spanish language training prepares professionals to communicate effectively with colleagues in the workplace. Short-term, intensive, customized courses are offered to increase understanding of topics like safety, Human Resources (absence leave, benefits, forms), health, job retention, legal (employee rights, harassment policies), manuals, etc.

WorkStyles: WorkStyles is a two-week, intensive, pre-employability skills program for refugees on how to get and to keep a job in the USA.

English For Driver's Education: Acquire the necessary vocabulary to achieve success in a Driver Education Training program.

English for International Professionals: Professional and cross-cultural communication skills development through intensive training and practical experiences. Programs are customized based on the specific technical and professional needs of the participants. English for International Professionals is offered both in Denver/Colorado and abroad.

American Language and Culture for Au Pairs: Spring Institute provides accredited courses in American Culture and ESL for Au Pairs that incorporate language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and cover a.o. topics on Colorado History, US Geography and American Culture and Values.

Technical Assistance in English Language Training: Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning has been designated by the Federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and the Colorado Refugee Services Program (CRSP) to provide technical assistance for English Language Training programs serving refugees nationwide.

Whatever your language needs, the Interpreter Network can provide you with linguistically tested, professionally trained, expert interpreters and translators.
